Electricity is cheaper from midnight to 7 in the morning. It is state run, and government deliberately keeps it cheap to help industry and people. Problem is if consuming of electricity is higher than we can produce, it have to import from EU, at much higher cost, so it is encouraged to spend less. My observation is that paychecks in USA are 4x higher than in Serbia.

An interesting fact: For the last year or two, youtube has been flooded with the works of Romanian tourism video bloggers about Budapest. I listen and read the comments of Romanian people with a translator and I am amazed.

Like who cares that whole East of Europe except Balkan, Russia, Belarus has been in EU and NATO for 22 years now.

Roma people are Gipsy. we are not devided but we are different. so at one point there was an action im Belgrade that intended to remove the Roma from unsanitary conditions they were living in ( we call it cardboard city) and they got free apartments. unfortunately they raided those apartments selling windows, flors and everything else from those apartments and they moved back under the bridge. i have Roma friends who work and live as anyone else. but most of the roma just like, i guess, the lifestyle. most of them are beggars, sending kids to beg for money... they just live differently.
